At first glance, you might mistake the iPod Touch with an iPhone. Although the iPhone has created a great following all over the globe, Apple’s iPod Touch is still a gadget that is sought after by a lot of people. If you wanted a fully functional media player with the glamour and features of an iPhone, then the iPod Touch is the best gadget for you.

If you are someone who is budget conscious, the iPod Touch is a good choice, which is much cheaper than the iPhone. But of course, don’t expect the iPod Touch to double up as a cell phone, because it simply can’t. The iPod Touch does not have any phone features, camera or even Bluetooth technology. It is an upgraded iPod player- with the multi touch screen user interface that most people love about the iPhone.

The iPod Touch also comes with a wireless feature. This way, you can directly go to iTunes and download your favorite songs. You can also check out certain websites with Safari, a web browser which has been specially modified to work with iPod Touch. You can also view your favorite videos with iPod Touch’s YouTube application. But you might be disappointed to know that the iPod Touch has no e-mail capabilities.

The iPod Touch is basically a mix of an iPod player and an iPhone. You can play your favorite music and watch your favorite videos wherever you may be at anytime of the day. You can easily navigate through the iPod Touch menu, not with a scroll wheel or a stylus, but with just the touch of your fingers. It has the same multi touch user interface technology that the iPhone has.

You might just be surprised that the iPod Touch cannot have that big of a storage space unlike your iPod Classic. The iPod Touch has a maximum memory of 16GB for $399 and an 8GB for $299.
