Whether you have an iPod Classic or iPod Nano, there may be times that you have to troubleshoot some issues yourself. Whether it is putting your gadget back to function normally or replacing a battery, there are basic things that you need to know before you begin troubleshooting.

Most iPod users would complain that their gadget would simply turn blank or won’t respond or “frozen”. There may be a number of reasons to this. Check the Hold switch button and check if it is not in a locked position. If it is, simply unlock the Hold switch and try using your iPod again.

Check the battery of your iPod, it may not be charged, which caused your iPod to turn off. Simply recharge your battery for a few minutes. Take note that some computer does not recognize an iPod unless the gadget is charged for about 30 minutes. Resetting your iPod player is also an option.
